The campus operates Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 6pm and is conveniently located at 2 Waterview Road, Lane Cove NSW 2066. Lane Cove West Montessori Academy will showcase three beautifully appointed Montessori classrooms and two dynamic outdoor play areas.

As first time parents sending our young baby to childcare, we were initially quite nervous and uncertain about what to expect. However, the team at LCW have helped her to not only settle well but we can see that she genuinely enjoys her time there and is learning new skills daily. The team of infants room educators are warm and affectionate, take incredible care to keep her rested, clean, engaged and happy and are so great at gently encouraging her to grow in independence. Not only this, we can rely on the centre for consistent and thorough communication about our child's daily activities and overall progress as well as clearly documented and observed policies and protocols. It's our daily pleasure to see the photo updates in the parent communication app and we are so grateful for the thorough rundown that the educators provide when we pick her up at the end of the day. Our baby always comes home happy and babbling endlessly about the fun she had with her LCW friends and the other children in the centre also seem happy and relaxed whenever we are there. Both of my children have attended/are attending Montessori Academy at LCW. My first child transferred here to the Toddler room when the LCW centre opened, and stayed until they went off to kindergarten, while my second child started in the Babies room and is now in the Preschool room. Their independence, their comprehension, their sense of self and confidence in being a part of their environment is so apparent, and I credit a lot of that to the care and dedication of the staff and the method of Montessori. I have always felt safe in leaving my children in the care of the LCW staff, and I have witnessed how the Montessori teaching has helped shape my children into who they are. It was very emotional when my first child left to go off to ‘big school’! And I know it will be utterly heartbreaking when my second reaches that point too. As much as I loved to have my little one enrolled at montessori, when I see this kind of communication style, I tell myself your little one should stay away from a childcare where people with such attitudes are working. Now that I read other reviews, it seems like I was not the only one complaining about communication with this place. Read more

Week On Us
1. Make an enquiry on www.careforkids.com.au to a participating long day care service between Monday 16 September 2024 6:00 AM AEST and Friday 22 November 2024 11.59 PM AEDT.
2. Participating services are identified with a “Care for Kids Limited Offer” badge.
3. Enrol at the same participating long day care service that you enquired to through www.careforkids.com.au by 11.59 PM AEDT Friday 22 November 2024.
4. Email georga@careforkids.com.au by 11.59 PM AEDT Friday 22 November 2024 to advise of your enrolment, to enter the promotion.
5. There are a maximum of thirty (30) vouchers in the promotion, each up to the maximum value of $150 for use on long day childcare costs for thirty (30) children only.
6. The voucher goes towards each winner’s parent co-payment contribution for the period of one (1) week for one (1) child only and is payable directly to the childcare centre.

In January 2012 the National Quality Framework (NQF) came into effect across Australia.
The purpose of the NQF is to improve and standardise the quality of child care through a
range of measures including better staff to child ratios, higher staff qualifications
and an assessment and rating system designed to promote continuous improvement.
Under the NQF child care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standards (NQS).
The NQS measures the quality of early childhood education and care in Australia. It will cover
most long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care services.
Under these standards child care services will be assessed and rated against the
seven quality areas, 18 standards and 58 elements that make up the NQS.
